Journey Covered: Haridwar - Barkot - Uttarkashi - Guptkashi/Sitapur - Kedarnath - Badrinath - Rudraprayag - Haridwar
The Yatra of Char dham is lifetime dream of every Hindu devotee. The trip consists of 1a nights and 12 days.
The journey will begin in Delhi. The tourist will take a drive to reach Haridwar. After reaching Haridwar, the tourist will check in their respective hotels and then attend the Ganga Aarti in the evening. After the evening Ganga Aarti, the tourist will return to their hotel for dinner and will prepare for next day.
After breakfast in the Haridwar, the tourist can drive to the barkot via Dehradun and Mussoorie. In the route, while traveling the tourist will visit Kempty Falls. After visiting Kempty falls the tourist will return to their respective hotels to take rest.
Next morning, the tourist will drive to the Ranachatti and can start trekking towards the Yamunotri. Yamunotri is 7 kms far from Ranachatti and can be reached by walking, by horse, by doli. After taking Darshana of Yamuna, the tourist will have to take drive back to barkot and there they can take rest.
After breakfast, the tourist will take drive to the Uttarkashi and visit the Vishwanath temple and go to the hotel.
In the morning, the tourist will have to drive to Gangotri. While travelling to the Gangotri, the tourist will see a great view of the Himalayas and the Bhagirathi river. After darshan at Gangotri, the tourist will return back to the Uttarkashi.
Rudraprayag is 175 kms far from the Uttarkashi. The tourist have to drive in the morning and visit Tehri lake on the route. After visiting the Tehri lake, the tourist will return to the hotel and prepare for next morning.
The tourist will have to take a drive at Gaurikund from the Rudraprayag. The tourist will now begin with trekking up to 14 kms by walking or doli. It is advisable that Every person has to carry their medicines and warm clothes for the stay at Kedarnath. After the trekking, the tourist will check-in the hotel and then visit the temple.
In the morning, the tourist will have to trek back to the Gaurikund and then take drive back to Gupta Kashi. The tourist will return to the hotel and take the rest.
After breakfast in the morning, the tourist will have to take drive to the Badrinath via Joshimath and then in the evening the tourist will be able to visit the Badrinath temple.
In the morning, the tourist will take bath in the Taptkund. There are many sites that the tourist will view around the Badrinath. The tourist will be able to see the Saraswati river. After the site seeing, the tourist will drive back to the rudrprayag.
In the morning, after breakfast the tourist will visit the local sites. After visiting these sites, the tourist will have to drive back to the Haridwar and return back to the hotel.
After reaching Delhi, the tourist will have to visit the respective railway station or airport.
The best sequence for the Chardham yatra starts from Delhi, Haridwar, Barkot, Yamunotri, Uttarkashi, Gangotri, Rudraprayag, Kedarnath, Badrinath, and Haridwar.
The best period for the Chardham yatra is in April or May. The time of yatra ends in October and November month.
The darshan timing of the Badrinath temple is 4:30 am to 3 pm.
You have to carry all your medicines, warm clothes, and all the necessary things.
